The Assessor Training and Scoring Process Officially Launched!
The Ohio RESA Team officially launched the 2014-15 RESA assessor training and scoring process in May, and we are on-track to deliver score reports to candidates by the end of September. We know this will come as welcome news to many of you who are eager to get started.
We finished reviewing the first round of assessor applicant profiles and made training assignments to the first group of assessors, so that they can become certified and start assessing RESA performance tasks.
If you are an Ohio-based educator with 5+ years of teaching experience, we are still accepting assessor applications! If you are interested in becoming a RESA assessor, please take the following steps:
- Register or re-enable your account by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
- Once registered, you will need to log into your account and complete your assessor profile. This step requires supplying background information on your education and your professional experience to date.
- Complete the following HR forms on the assessor page and return to Sue Coughlin (email@example.com) at the Educational Service Center of Cuyahoga County:
RESA Assessor Webinar Available
On June 25th, 2015 the Ohio RESA Team held a webinar for Assessors that walks through the assessor application process, compensation and employment policies, and provides important guidance to those currently navigating the software and the certification process. At the end of the webinar, participants have their questions answered. A video of the webinar is available in addition to a PDF of the slide deck.
